The hackathon, which took place in Abuja from October 20 to 22, 2023, brought together startups and entrepreneurs from across the country to compete for grants to support their research projects.

The winners of the hackathon are:

  • Blockchain-enabled Data Protection Solutions for Enhancing Regulatory Compliance: Know-Now Limited
  • Assistive Technology Solutions for the Elderly and People with Disabilities: Spex Care Limited 
  • Technology Solutions for Renewable Energy in Rural Areas: Solaris GreenTech Hub

Each of the winning teams will receive a grant of N10 million to support the development of their research projects.
