Huawei has officially taken the wraps off its latest offering, the Mate X5 foldable smartphone, succeeding the Mate X3 which made its debut earlier this year. The Mate X5 boasts a fresh design characterized by a more compact form factor and an enhanced hinge mechanism, coupled with an array of new features including an updated display, enhanced cameras, and an extended battery life.
The Mate X5 showcases a foldable 7.85-inch display, offering a remarkable resolution of (2,224 x 2,496 px) and 6.4-inch LTPO OLED cover display (1,080 x 2,504px) with Kunlun Glass protection. When folded, it transforms into a 6.4-inch cover display. For added durability and resilience, Huawei has fortified the display with second-generation Kunlun glass, rendering it more resistant to drops and damage.

Underneath the hood, the phone is powered by the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor and is available with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
